Dr Andreas Armuss is a medical doctor, specialised in internal medicine. He has been working as a full time Medical Consultant at Munich Re headquarters in Munich since October 2003. In addition to his work in assessing individual risks in all types of life insurance globally, he has been involved in developing criteria for medical risk evaluation for the Munich Re manual “MIRA”. Moreover, he has been presenting and publishing the results of Munich Re’s medical research in Australasia, Europe and South Africa over the last few years. Since 1 July, 2017 Dr Armuss has been the Chief Medical Director (Life and Health-Asia Pacific, Middle East and Africa) for Munich Re, based in Singapore.
